The Battle of the Sibuyan Sea was fought Sibuyan Sea on October 24, 1944 where the battleship Musashi sank and various other ships damaged. On October 24, 2011, Romblon will commemorate the Battle of Sibuyan Sea in Alcantara, Romblon.
