On May 15 every year, the town of Lucban in Quezon province celebrates the Pahiyas Festival in honor of the patron saint St. Isidore. It is a showcase of houses adorned with fruits, vegetables, agricultural products, handicrafts and kiping, a rice-made decoration, which can be eaten grilled or fried.
