"Dinagyang Festival is an annual religious/cultural festival in Iloilo City, Philippines held on the fourth Sunday of January, or right after the Sinulog in Cebu and the Ati-Atihan in Aklan. It is held both to honor the Santo Niño and to celebrate the arrival on Panay of Malay settlers and the subsequent selling of the island to them by the Atis."

We went there Sunday to visit a friend and also to celebrate the festival. We ride at SuperCat25 from Bacolod to Iloilo with Business Class accomodation together with the two Kapuso Stars - Claudine Baretto and Ehra Madrigal. :) We also bumped with Patrick, bestfriend of Pepito Manaloto not of Spongebob, at the SuperCat terminal.

The place, Iloilo City, was full of joy and happiness. We didn't mind walking the streets with the sun up smiling so bright.
