Ten tribes--- Ata, Matigsalug, Ovu-Manuvo, Klata-Djangan, Tagabawa, Tausug, Maguindanao, Maranao, Kagan, and Sama are the ethnic groups that comprise the 10 different tribes of Davao City.

The streets of Davao City teem with contingents from different schools and organizations from the city and neighboring provinces.  But some come from as far as Surigao to dance to the beat of the drums that is uniquely Mindanaoan sound.  The Indak-Indak sa Kadalananan telling stories of Mindanaoan legends on August 18, 2012 promises to be a feast for the eyes and ears.
