Minuluan Festival is an annual culture and arts festival celebrating the unique identity of the Talisaynons.
Held usually every September 4-10 it inspires the present generation with cherished traditions and rich culture of the past and the bravery of its ancestors especially Captain Sabi who singlehandedly drove away Moro intruders. The festival likewise celebrates the feast of its patron saint, San Nicolas de Tolentino which falls on 10th of September.

This 2012, Talisay City will be celebrating its 13th Minuluan Festival on September 5-10 with the theme "Saulogon ang na-agum nga Kadalag-an sa paghiliusa sang tanan agud ma-angkon ang Balanse nga Kauswagan".

How to Get There
From Manila, you can fly to Bacolod (estimated cost of Php2500++, round trip, 45 minutes). From Bacolod-Silay Airport, you can take a shuttle (Php75-100 per head), or a cab and ask to be dropped off at Talisay City (before reaching Bacolod City).
