This dish which literally means spicy hot is will surely bring out diffrent emotions upon eating this native food.
Here is the recipe for making Chicken halang-halang or the Spicy Native Chicken Soup in Coconut Milk.
1. 1 whole native chicken cut into small servings
2. 1 grilled ginger
3. 3 chopped spring onions
4. 3 cups of coconut milk
5. Chilli pepper
6. Chili leaves
1.Cut chicken into small serving pieces; clean with salt and rinse with water.
2.cook chicken in a pot with enough water and let it boil together with the ginger abd chili peper. Wait unitl the chicken gets tender.
3.Add cocnut milk and seson with salt to taste. Add chili leaves and let it simmer for a minute!
4. Serve Hot.
