A healthier sausage than the regular ones, make it with veggies.



Vegetable Sausage



Ingredients
• Carrots
• Spinach
• Bell pepper
• White onion
• Garlic powder
• Ground pork
• White bread
• Flour
• Eggs
• Squash
• Shrimp paste
• Mushroom
• Papaitan (dried intestine)
• Vegetable oil
• Cabbage
• Sotanghon
• Tomato



Procedure
1. Cut the bell pepper, carrots, onion, mushroom into cubes or dice.
2. Mix the garlic powder, ground pork, season with salt and pepper.
3. Mix the vegetable in the meat mixture. Mix well.
4. Add white bread, flour and eggs.
5. Soak the dry instestine in warm water for about a minute.
6. Put the sausage in the steam. Cook for an hour.
7. For the sauce, dice the squash.
8. Sauté onion and shrimp paste. Then add squash until it become golden brown.
9. Add little water and simmer for five minutes.
10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
11. Serve with shredded cabbage, fried sotanghon and tomato.
