Siargao is known for its world-class waves for surfing at Cloud 9.  But when you get to taste its buko pie, there’s one more good reason to visit Siargao.

Gooey, soft, melts-in-your-mouth filling of young coconuts with just the right amount of sweetness and crunchy crust, Siargao’s Buko Pie will definitely be a contender for the best buko pie.

When one bites into a slice, its yummy filling of soft buko will ooze out making you hold on to the crunchy crimped edges.  Before you know it, your slice is gone and you pick out a new one.

A slice would cost Php20.

But a small slice wouldn’t be enough so you buy the whole small pie at PhP170 or the big one at PhP270.  I would recommend the big one as it has more layers of young coconut meat.

Next time I get to think of buko pie, it would be Siargao’s Buko Pie on my mind J
