Filipinos love to eat, thus they did various cuisine innovations which are distinctly a Filipino menu. One of which is the botche, made from bananas, flour and sugar, it will absolutely give you that sweet and fluffy taste you’ve been looking for a snack meal. Banana, its primary ingredient is cultivated widely in tropical and subtropical areas including the Philippines. No wonder why Filipinos made various dishes out from it.
Try to make some with these following procedures:
Ingredients:
12 pieces of banana(medium-sized)
1/6 kg. brown sugar
1 kg. of flour
1 liter of oil
Water
Peel off and mash the banana.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, sugar and the mashed banana. Add water to combine the mixture.
Heat a pot with enough oil over medium heat. Spoon a tablespoon of the batter and drop into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown.
Best serve with sugar sprinkled on top.
You can also create your own version of botche. Add ingredients which you think will complement to the sugary taste of banana. Do your kitchen experiment now!
