As I was surfing the internet last night, I happen to see this bags which are really elegant and stylish. First thing that will come into your mind when you look at them is that it really looks chic and fashionable. As I was looking for more photos, I was shocked to find out that it is purely, “MADE IN THE PHILIPPINES.”

Pinococo coconut bags are made from coconut shells along with several indigenous, recycled and natural components such as leaves, twigs, wild grass, and seashells. The fabrics are hand sewn to the polished and artist-painted coconut shells, lined, and meticulously embellished by hand and beaded with wood, seashells, twigs, pearls, and hand-painted natural leaves. Ribbons, leather scraps, cords, and silk tassels are sometimes added to enrich the look.

Each item is made from indigenous materials meticulously handcrafted by men, women with children, and out-of-school youth, coming from indigent families and are undergoing our life-skills training program.

These gorgeous Pinococo bags are fashioned and painstakingly handcrafted one bag at a time.

Isn’t it amazing? Indeed, Filipinos aren’t just resourceful, we are artistic and creative!
